My name is Andrés Santos. I’m from Santa Marta, Colombia. If you don’t know where that is, it’s between the Sierra Nevada, the jungle, and the sea. A place that shapes you more than you’d think.

ToggleWhy I started this blog
I’ve been watching for a long time. Reading, training, failing, building things in silence. Now I’m starting this space to document what I learn while trying to get a little better every day. Not just in one thing—in everything. The way I think, the way I train, the way I build things, the way I fail and get back up.
You’ll see the process here about: my interests, what I’m focused on, what’s working, what’s failing, and the questions I keep asking myself. Step by step.
I’ll share life through facts, but always from my own perspective. From my own subjectivity. I want to make sense of this whole illusion we’re living in, and I’ll do it by talking about the universe, the mind, the body, philosophy, business, and life around here—trying to understand why, why all of this, why I am here.
I’ll also share resources I put together that might be useful for you.
What “1% better every day” means
For me, getting better means a small read, a few pull‑ups, a paragraph written, a decision made with clarity. Over time, those small things add up. Without forgetting that the only thing that matters is what I do in the present, without waiting for the perfect moment. Here. Now. After this, everything else is noise.
Two ways I’ll try to do this
Document, not perform. I’m not here to show off. Just to keep a record—honest, unfiltered, raw. The wins, the doubts, the experiments that go nowhere. If someone learns from it, great. If not, at least I’ll have a map.
Build in public. I’ve spent years consuming, testing, building in the dark. Now I want to do it with the windows open. You’ll see the products, the mistakes, the mess. More vulnerable, but more useful.
Three things that will guide this path
I’ve been thinking about what I actually want to achieve in this life. These three set the direction:
Let my gaze wander among the stars. I want to step where few have stepped, to see what few have seen. Not to conquer, but to understand.
Achieve what I’ve never achieved before. Build something that outlasts me—not for the name, but for the proof that limits are meant to be crossed.
Help those around me. Not as a mission statement. Just as a reminder that any growth that stops at myself is hollow.
These aren’t goals to check off. They’re directions. Over time, I hope you’ll see how they unfold.
And where you can find me
If you want to know what I’m working on, here I am. And if you prefer video, I pop up on my YouTube channel every now and then 😉
See you around.

¿Why Is Earth Perfect For Life?: The Cosmic Miracle.
Imagine this scenario: you're floating in the infinite vacuum of space, looking down at a tiny blue dot. That dot isn't just any planet. It's a cosmic gear so precisely calibrated in its physical characteristics that it defies all the probabilities proposed by modern astrobiology.
Mathematical coincidence? Design? Or the inevitable emergence of immutable physical laws dictating the origin of life?
